It is, as the title suggests, and EP of my versions of some of my favourite songs. I worked on these covers earlier this year during a period of writing, because I wanted to keep connected + keep sharing music between releases. I shared the songs to my Facebook page and was really moved by the reaction of my followers, so I decided to make it into a real thing so I could share some of my favourite songs with you properly.

I took a trip to Vietnam in April, bought a little guitalele + finished developing the covers in a hotel room in Hoi An 💁🏻‍♀️ (I wrote about that trip in this blog post) When I got home in May, I went into the studio with Tom Moore, who produced and added string arrangements to the songs. I think we made something which sounds unique + different, while being largely acoustic; kind of taking me back to the stripped back acoustic guitar sound that I started with.

At first the EP was only going to be available as a CD to people who came out to my June tour (thank you to all of you for coming + buying it!) but we worked out a way to release them online so that everyone can hear them, and today you can have a listen on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music etc etc by following above. Isn’t that magic 🧚🏻‍♀️
